: I would be very interested in your opinion about the covie civil war,
might have missed this. Mercy, with his dying words says no one will be left behind. Mercy himself personally is giving us pardon. (because thats his name, mercy) Truth my think differently, but since mercy was dying, he saw it as his last possible chance to use his authority and blessings to give ultimate mercy to all. (aka mercy forgives all, but just him, however, his holy influence should be enought to give us pardon when the great journey comes, despite what the others feel) sorta like the pope forgiving someone of sin even though no else in the church does. the popes blessing should be enough when you die. I think it was truths desicion and not mercys to cast the elites out, and for the purpose of granting the title of "escort" of the prophets to the brutes. the grunts and jackels are not promised to be the prophets escort only a right of passage in the great journey. but the title escort is held with the highest honor next to being a prophet. Truth wanted to take away from the elites the promise made at the begining of the covenant, of having this honoray stance. Why the prophets prefer the brutes over the elites might have to do with age old prejudics from before the formation of the covenant, back when the elites and prophets were at war.
