Of course it will. Which is why I didn't say that it wasn't true.

MS is definitely money-hungry enough to whore out its IP in a hope to catch enough folks going to the movie before any reviewers pan it. Besides, even if it sucks, many us us will say "it can't be that bad" and more receipts will go to MS.

I'm a little shocked that Bungie wouldn't try a little harder to block the deal until they could adequately donate enough resources to ensure the project didn't even come close to sucking.

Or maybe they did or have been doing that for so long that they frankly got tired of saying no?
