That's an extremely loose interpretation. The marine is still there and it is still Bungies origional artwork! Draw your own (somewhat similar)marine, sit him in your own (somewhat similar)jeep, and stick him on a ringworld. Don't mention the words 'Halo', 'Bungie', 'Covenant', etc. and you MIGHT be ok. But I wouldn't be surprised if you still found yourself in court. IIRC Disney has sucessfully sued over a lot less...
