Not really. You can't continue a saved game in co-op.

Wouldn't the effect be the same, though, if you got all the skulls with different profiles? All the effects are turned on the same order... but with different profiles. Ah well, I'm going to try this in different combinations as well, but it seems like there may be a remaining skull somewhere...
