sounds frustrated. quiktime is superb on a lot of stuff, that wmp is just not. i wish i knew why ;) i find the older equipment, is having trouble shifting, and windows is making wmp work quite well in xp.
i do know, the memory allotments are differant, in some points. if he devoured the memory, it might not play well either. if they just recreated the memory and graphics calls, the machines wouldn't see any differance, and things would work smoother.
when do we get a windows apple interface? ;(

p.s. the first geek to scream linux gets a plasma stuck to his head :)
