I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it only works for vehicles. I tried in MP, but was unable to do so (however, I don't know whether it doesn't lock on to players, or because I was killed too soon for it to "lock on"). In either event, I doubt Bungie would allow a feature that "cheapens" the experience. There were quite a few things I thought was "wierd" at first (upon hearing it, not playing it), where someone from Bungie answered to the effect that "yeah, we thought about that too, but when we played it over and over, it just wasn't fun" (paraphrasing here, but you get the gist of it). Bungie is all about the fun. | |
