Very good point. But as his left hand isn't on the rifle, like the guy in the foreground. So this leads me to think that he's doing an action like reloading, or that one of them is looking into the scope. And the blue guy on the top-right of the base has also been shot, so maybe when you're looking in a scope your body rotates at the waist, but can't spin around so quickly.

But I'm probably reaching there. But I'd like to reach some more. Maybe the flying debris from the grenade explosion? Don't they look like the same material as the doorway behind it? Destroyable doors? Alright, now that's reaching.

But let's look at the one thing that we can derive from this picture for certain. Ole' Chiefy will die in different poses! Look at that guy on his back(his name's Lazy), the one taking the dive (I call him Divey,) on the right, and everyone's favorite, Fly-Boy. C'mon, that's great news!

And addressing other's concerns, on the left of the skyline looks like a mountain, not another Halo. And those cables definitely look climable to me. But if anyone else is around when you climb them, you're a sitting duck. And soon to be a falling duck.

But one thing I'd like to say is to not point out that we shouldn't toss out the idea of damagable armor. You can't say that the armor can't be damaged, as it obviously has been or the marks wouldn't be there to begin with. I mean, a paint job? Who paints scrapes onto armor? And really, what would it take to do that? Just tossing up a sprite on Cheify's armor. Remember the garganutan amount of pasted 'particles' that Halo could have? And how if you shot a metal wall once, it dented, twice a small hole appeared, and more than that you started making continuous tears into the wall?

Don't look at me like that. I'm studying to make games. It was purely a technological study...

Anyway, my point being that the ones in Halo were based on the time they lasted. And I'm not sure but,(my study was inconclusive,) I think if you made fewer they lasted longer? This could easily be done in multiplayer. Just keep track of them on the players instead of on the walls. Of course the first thing we'll all do is peel all the paint off of someone...
