Gunnery : Sergeant is frequently the rank of platoon sergeants. Why did I choose : this name? I've always wanted to join the services. Army, Navy, whatever. : That's all. : But especially some of you newer people... What does your s/n mean??? Well, mine might be too obvious to explain... But maybe not, for some people, so here you go. I'd been following Halo's development somewhat closely ever since it was first announced, and every now and again I'd go see what sort of info could be found lying about the web on it. I don't even remember when I saw this, but at some point (it might even have been after the release), I found out that the MC's armor was called Mjolnir. As those of us who are fans of Norse mythology know, Mjolnir was a war hammer owned by Thor, the god of thunder. Hence, I thought, "Well, that'd be a good nickname, and I've been meaning to join Bungie.net anyway." So, later on in life, when I discovered the HBO forum, I used that name here, too. It's what I usually play as at LANs. Of course, many people before me had used that name on Bungie.net, so I had adopted a variant of it, Thor'sHammer. Which meant that in the recent shenanigans over there, I had to pick another name... So if you're actually looking for my Bungie.net account, I'm now Ardath (Another name I sometimes play with; it's from my fantasy world). -Nate
