In Response To: Re: Halo: First Strike (Spartan 034) : It goes into the begining and then some. Allow me to interject the following: the statement quoted above is BUNK. To confirm, yes the novel "First Strike" takes place between Halo 1 and Halo 2. No, I will not divulge how much time elapses, nor will I give any specifics of the plot, but for the record, anyone who's claiming insider knowledge that the novel will detail the whole plot of Halo 2, or that the release date of the novel will affect in any way the release date of the game, is totally in error.
