Missing the detail

While it's the same image reused I believe it reveals more.

Diehard Bungie fans have come to expect Bungie's attention to detail just as Bungie expect us to look for it. The ring motif in the background of the Halo letters is part of what could be best described as an alien mural. I believe it was created by the same people(?) who created the Halo world. Why? Well the same motif appears on an interior door. Given the story details we have so far I believe that neither the Covenant nor the Humans had time to construct these buildings. They were there on arrival.

I also believe that the ring in the mural and on the door is a representation of the Halo world. Just as ancient Earth based murals depict an event I think this one does too. This is the attention to detail I was referring to.
