I suspect that the building's interior is entirely independent of the building's exterior, and that they are linked through portals and/or 5D space. In that case it would be simple to put any structure inside any other structure. A base built into a cliff? A sea base at the bottom of a lake? A base floating in midair? A building whose exterior is the size of an outhouse but whose interior is the size of the Empire State Building? All this and more with Jjaro^H^H^H^H^HBungie technology ;) |
