What could this mean?

In Response To: Now hold on (DirkDaring) -The shots are actually from the same place, or very nearby. That's pretty unlikely as the terrain looks different. However, I would think that Halo's sky will stay similar as you move around, so it could be from only a few hundred yards away. -There is only 1 sky texture. Unlikely since it also doesn't look like the clouds in any o the other skies. What about this: The sky is a texture-mapped plane, slowly moving, but it's randomly generated? It could be like Unreal's Fire Engine, except that the random generation is only occuring on the edges where it can't be seen. The random clouds would then float across the sky in and endless yet nonrepeating pattern.
