i've never seen it personally, but two of my friends who've had both TNT2u's and V3's agree that the v3 produces a better 2d image.

i have no complaints from my v3 with my desktop set at 1280x1024 @75hz (most my monitor will allow) the v3 gives options for higher but the monitor says no =(

of course, we're talking about geforces and the voodoo5, so that may not be the case anymore... still, your history can be proven wrong
