In Response To: 800 years of Blam! (Oddot) I do not know why everyone thinks that Mechs would be such a good weapon. Anything Standing on two legs with a heavier top will be VERY unstable. Humans are probobly the most unstable animal there is. If you simplify the human body you will get a stack of triangles with the points down. It takes a couple of years for humans to learn to walk, imagine what you would need to get a "mech" to walk without falling. Also, a Mech has a VERY big profile, it would be hard to not hit it. The lower the vehicle the better, more stable and a lower profile. Dr.
