What if the marathon symbol isn't really a : symbol used souly for the UESC Marathon but for the entire UESC in : general. We never really saw any other Earthling ships in the whole : series, for all we know the so called "Marathon" symbol could be : plastered over every ship the UESC ever spewed out. : The bungie guys probably also though that they shouldn't waist a good symbol. : Durandal's drinking buddy, : Alfred Mordeir I used to think that as well, but I seem to remember hearing some where that the Marathon logo represented the moon of Deimos (uh... it was Deimos, right?) being hollowed out.
