| In Response To: Re: The First Marathon Is The Best (Ryanman) Note on the music: Seeming as how the game was made in the early 90s, listen to some of the songs next to Soundgarden's "Superunknown." There's a remarkable similarity in some of the songs. I haven't played the game in its entirety in a long time (it freaks me out...really...) but listen to the music for level 3 "Never Burn Money." This song is almost a note for note copy of the actual song "Superunknown" on the same album. I remember thinking that they were similar when I first started playing the game when I was 14. I picked up M1A1 and started it a while ago and now that I've been playing guitar for like 7 years and know that particular Soundgarden song like the back of my hand, I can really say that the two songs are strikingly similar. I hope someone from Bungie still reads these pages, cause it's always been a question of mine as to whether or not the two were connected. | |
