Breathing aparatus allows one to breath in an alien atmosphere. However, exposure to vacuum would make ones bodily fluids boil PDQ, and I can't see any reason why this would not be true of ETs. Riddle me this: if fighters are vacuum-enabled, why do troopers need visors?
