In Response To: Re: Volunteers: Acme Station (Zudo) :: "Pfhor are generally thinner and lighter than humans and are : superbly adapted for low gravity environments." Low gravity and vacuum are two vastly disparate sets that only happen to cross over in outer space. Each can be found totally separate of the other easily, even in our universe, much less Marathon's. I do think the Infinity Pfhor are pretty clearly vacuum-equipped, whereas those of Marathon 1 are a hazier area (since the resolution of the sprites is, likewise, hazier). They've always had those tubes looping over their shoulders, but in M1, they appeared to be organic. In MI, they're fairly obviously artificial breathing apparati. : It's worth noting, however, that MI is a third-party scenario, and mistakes : do happen. I can't think of any vacum levels from m1 or m2 with fighters : in them... Uh... that "third-party," Double Aught, included Greg, who is about as definitive as it gets without being Jason. There may be mistakes, but if there are, it's for the sake of game play, not just random accident. |
