Weapons:
AR=30 pounds
Pistols=10 pounds x2
TOZ-T=25 pounds
SPNKR=40 pounds
WSTE-M=20 pounds x2
Fusion pistol=15 pounds
SMG=15 pounds
Alien weapon=30 pounds

Ammo:
AR=.5 pounds per clip, 15 clips, 5 pounds per grenade clip, 8 grenade clips, plus one of each in the weapon.
Pistols=.5 pounds per clip, 50 clips, plus one of each in both pistols (+2).
TOZ-T:7 pounds per canister, 3 canisters, plus one in the weapon.
SPNKR=15 pounds per rack, 4 racks, plus one in the weapon.
WSTE-M:.2 pounds per clip, 80 clips, plus one in each weapon (+2).
Fusion pistol=5 pounds per battery, 25 batteries, plus one in the weapon.
SMG=7 pounds per clip, 6 clips, plus one in the weapon.

Items:
Four Biobus Enhancements (5 pounds each).
One uplink chip, one repair chip (5 pounds each-they were big chips).

When we add all of this, we get an insane weight of 215+8+45+26+28+75+16.4+130+49+20+10 pounds. What is that number?

622.4 pounds!!!!

Now. Our friend the Marine is, of course, a cyborg. One would assume he would be able to lift this much weight.

But run across an entire asteroid, a large planet, several space stations, several starships, and more of the same planet while carrying all of this?

Granted, alloys will no doubt become much lighter in the next 700 years, but it's still a prodigious amount of weight to be running around fighting with...even if the Marine is strong enough to carry all of this, inertia (if he carried, let's say, only 300 pounds of stuff) would carry him much farther than it does.

Although...this does explain why he can't jump.
