([Tycho?]) : : yea, and in marathon, the charater development of the marine is well, : nonexistent. while the characters of the AI are very interesting viewing : those could be tough. The marine is basicly faceless, and text terminals : aren't very interesting for a movie... : a novel would be better, since you could avoid pictures of the AIs and the : marine, letting your imagination do the rest. : Text can be turned into voice. Making a good movie would be hard. a faceless marine? then don't show his face. A book couldn't really recreate the 'turn around the corner and get scared to death by being face to face with the enemy' feeling. and don't forget that a Marathon book trilogy already exists. What kind of legal snag would that be?
