IIRC, the 'dpin' resource in the PID app is the initial states of all the entities in all the maps; the savegame files have the same format.

And that puzzling C++ code is basically for reading in the data; I had once created some C++ template classes for arrays, however, I may end up changing that code to use the C++ Standard Template Library, which has a variety of container classes, like array classes.

But at least someone likes my data-structure documentation.
