In Response To: Re: PiDA1 (Andrew Nagy) : Marathon remake in 2D is my dream. To anyone interested in taking over that idea, head over to http://sawbladesoftware.com/ and purchase The Green Machine - it let's you create your own sidescroller game. It's only 15 bucks and was made by Jesse Simko. Porting Pathways to Marathon/Aleph One is a huge endeavor. Everything have to be rebuilt from the ground up. I've made a few tests on my own and I'm convinced the only way this thing can come out right is adding, upgrading and changing a lot of stuff, starting with the sound fxs. It's not everyday a team of people get together to work on a scenario the way the Rubicon team or the Nardo team or the Evil team did - I know I'm pretty much on my own with this cause, but hey, that didn't stopped me before... **Raśl's stars Photoshop with an evil grin on his face and thinks: "First The Portal Of Sigma, then... The World!** |
