In Response To: Re: One More Thing (Kirkpatrick) (Philtron) I think Greg is trolling with these kinds of philosophical questions. But what is life about? If we're talking philosophically, nobody can answer this, but literally, life is about existence. We normally don't go this far with our definition of life, but everything, from the biggest planets, stars, and galaxies, to the smalles subatomic particles, are all in constant motion and reacting to forces, and, in turn, impose forces on everything else. Most things don't care about what happens; they just are, but the more sentient and autonomous life is, the more they will struggle for their continued existence. This is what we do in Infintiy; struggle to preserve the existence that the w'rkncacncter threatens. Durandal even quotes Darwin in M1, so the theme of survival and natural selection has been planted in the series from the beginning.
