Speaking of things not found in the text, I notice that you seem to keep using "metastability" like it's a fourth stage of rampancy, when IIRC the only reference to the concept in the game texts at all is when Durandal says that "we can't have too many meta-stable personality constructs running around the galaxy in stolen Pfhor battleships" or something to that effect, which tells us nothing at all about the relationship of metastability to rampancy. AFAIK the "metastability is the fourth stage of rampancy" thing is entirely fanon.
