I found that ammo cache, it's in a room full of bones, I just don't remember where it was.

But it doesn't matter. I decided to use my previous save in ascension where I had SEVEN (I kid you not) magazines for the gun. Now all I need to do is go back down and kill everything with my knife.

Damn, was this game really so hard?
