With a Terminal setting of "Largest" in the preferences, the size and position of the terminals is pretty faithful to the XBLA release. You may want to look at FloatingX, a similar HUD which made different design decisions; I think the terminals come out a little larger there.

Blame me for this. In Marathon 2, you can only carry one chip at a time, so there was no precedent in XBLA for displaying a chip count. I considered solutions to this, but I forgot that I hadn't implemented any of them in 1.0. I'll fix it in the next release.

: * It doesn't make sense to have Dark rather than Normal be the default gamma
: setting; not sure if it was like that in the original.

Not only is Dark the default going back to the original games, it's also the setting that leaves your monitor calibration alone. The Normal setting actually makes your monitor brighter! The ways of Bungie are mysterious indeed.
