That's correct. Hangar 96 is at the end of the obvious path on Where are monsters in dreams. If you read the terminal to the end you will be teleported to next timeline, starting with Acme Station. You've done nothing wrong in the game.
The issue that is being discussed is whether Hangar 96 should be at the end of the obvious path on Where are monsters in dreams, since it is not on the other dream levels.
