In Response To: Dream the Path (poenadare)

: Where are monsters in dreams
: obvious: hangar ninety six - Acme Station
: not: subway train - Aie Mak Sicur (fail)

: Whatever You Please
: obvious: knife and attack - Naw Man He's Close
: not: hangar ninety six - Carroll Street Station (fail)

: Eat the Path
: obvious: rambling, knife - By Committee
: not: hanger ninty six - You're Wormfood, Dude (fail)

: Did I do this right? I fail to see the connection.

Aye. On each dream level the obvious route always takes you to a new timeline. The less obvious route will take you to a failed ending.

But the end terminals are not consistent. On two dream levels, the mysterious hangar ninety six terminal will take you to failed endings but not on Acme Station.

Should they be consistent? I don't know but it would have made life much easier if hangar ninety six had always taken you to a failed ending. The text in these terminals portrays death and destruction, loss and hopelessness. A fitting terminal for a failed endings. If they had been consistent by the time you has got to the 3rd dream level you would know what terminal not to take and be more in control of the path you should take.

Eat the Path, 1st terminal:

Find the right way down through the maze, to the food, then find the exit. Push the exit button. If the food tastes awful, don't eat it, go back and try another way.

Just something to think about.

Cheers
Hamish
