Eternal X Commentary: "Roots and Radicals"

Level 06: "Roots and Radicals"
(Created by Don-Martin Antell based on an idea by Adam Ashwell.)
You are in a small room. Outside, set against the backdrop of some beautiful views of Tau Ceti IV, a battle rages between Fusion Bobs, MADDs, and Pfhor Troopers and Hunters. There is a terminal in your little room.
[L06-T0-Unfinished]
Inside the core is another terminal with a generic warning message.
[L06-T2-Unfinished]
But after Durandal's core is smashed, it changes.
[L06-T2-Finished]
After you input Durandal's primal pattern, which you can't help but retrieve inside his core, into an uplink socket on the bridge, another terminal becomes active.
[L06-T1-Finished]
You teleport out to Level 7: "The Tangent Universe".
(I am particularly proud of my writing for Durandal on this level. However, I do worry that some players may think that the entity from the last terminal of the next level is this same Durandal, having escaped the universe in this alternate timeline. For the record, it's not; that entity is the Durandal-Thoth AI, who in Eternal escaped the universe shortly after Infinity ended.)
