I always thought, personally, that two normal AIs when combined, the domanant mind takes over. In this Durandal/Toth and Leela/S'buth are equal so its half/half.
But of course Forrest must have some explation about "The Tenth Dimension" or the Jjarro's fear of commitment. I mean, no offense its me, but because I only play Eternal every other week I forget the story, so theres probably an explanation somwhere, perhaps in the Heavens, where the Halo fans are punished :->
