Leela/S'bhuth are having some integration issues, and toward the end Leela ends up suppressing the S'bhuth portion of herself more and more often.
Durandal/Thoth is meant to be just like Durandal/Thoth from Infinity, roughly equals, one person with two voices, though Durandal is perhaps slightly dominant.
Though you'll notice that in both cases the S'pht (Thoth/S'bhuth) side comes out for the more poetic, aloof, "organic" types of thoughts, whereas the Human (Durandal/Leela) side comes out for more precise technical language and instructions. This is to reflect the respective natures of Human and S'pht AIs, the former being more mechanistically programmed, and the later being more organically grown intelligences.
