I didn't know about it for a long time either, even though a playable release was floating around the net for years.

I know how that feels; it's the same for me every time I find out that an interesting game is console-only or that H&K still isn't going to import any USP Elite 9mms because mean politicians will just try to ban them again.

My original comment about the attitudes of Mac Marathon fans wasn't really directed at anyone here. A recurring topic on Bungie.net, which I have to patrol as a moderator now, is whether or not Marathon should be ported to the X360. I personally couldn't care less, except that a recurring argument against it seems to be Marathon started on the Mac and therefore should stay on the Mac. Seems that a lot of members over there haven't bothered to read Matt Soell's excellent soapbox article about the futility of platform wars.

So I guess I should have phrased it a little more clearly. Sorry to anyone who might have taken offense.
