In Response To: You insiders are making me jealous *NM* (Steve Levinson) The only insiders are the people who remember (or notice the link to) this page:
It's not guaranteed to be as up to date as what's on my HD, and certain redundant parts may be out of sync with each other (e.g. the individual maps are sometimes more and sometimes less current than the "latest" merge [that I've bothered to upload], and the new Alpha link at the bottom may be more or less current than that, or any of the shapes patches and such). But it's up there if you want to see how things are progressing. Right now we've just finished all major revisions on chapter 1, and so Alpha 1 has just been posted last week or so (see the bottom of the page). There are a number of known bugs with it already and I've already made a lot of other revisions since that went online (taking a break from more touchups right now actually), but if you'd like to playtest it and give me feedback I'd much appreciate it. This goes for everyone, especially people who had issues with Mk V. Eternal's always had an open development process, and I love feedback of any sort. At least I do now that I'm not on a deadline and just trying to make it as good as possible ((though I am really hoping to meet a certain special date next year now that it looks like doing so may be possible). I've just stopped alerting the world every time it's "3:15 AM - minor refinements made to patterns 25 and 26 of Human Textures / Set 4" (which is what I just did now). And stopped bothering to keep the dev page more up to date than is needed for other people to do their work, since it's a hassle for me to package and organize and upload everything every time I push a few pixels around. Also, if you've got Hotline, stop by hl.forerunners.org sometime. Every now and then I go all OMG l33t p0n13z!!!111one!1eleven and start posting links to random cool images or screenshots from the project that I've been working on at the moment.
