In Response To: Re: The politics/philosphy of mapping (RyokoTK) ...In fact, this is true of almost all of the earlier Pfhor Plank levels: sprawling, blandly-textured levels... This seems to come up a lot. "Rubicon has terrible textures," it seems to be said. "They are as if someone puked gruel all over a perfectly good wall." I don't know about that. I actually kind of like them. In contrast, I feel that certain more conventional Marathon texture sets are similar in practice to stabbing myself in the eyes with a carefully chosen selection of acridly-bright highlighters. Am I the only person who feels this way? ~aachim
