Hmmmn. 16mb. Uhh, nah, it's only loading about 12mb of textures. Oh, but the display lists probably take up... let's see... maybe...
Well, if it IS that, perhaps replace the textures with lower-res versions, and to cut the display list size (at the cost of less smooth animation) add 'PrefsFrameSkipFactor x' where x is a number 1 to anything, higher numbers than 2 or 3 made the animations look like slideshows. :/
