I always found it that the Spartan always wore heavy armour, while the Mjolnir had small-medium armour along with sheilds. The Spartan may crouch and jump over the Mjolnir, the Mjolnir can run around faster and pump out more WSTE-M or Fusion into the Spartan faster then you can say "Scheiße"

Also, the Spartan takes up too much data space. It would crash a Marathon network game in miliseconds! the Mjolnir can get onto a Halo multiplayer game and turn sideways to hide! The plot thickens...
