You must be talking about halo 2 : In Marathon there are no precision rifles, but you have the Flechette which : is very powerful as well as accurate and you could even kill big shark : with it from a ship! Of course halo has the sniper rifle, however it is not fully automatic like the flechette gun. : I don't really know if there are more human weapons in Halo, but IMO Halo's : human weapons lack of something, they are nothing really special or : interesting.... don't misunderstand me, they're cool, and good designed, : but they lack from imagination. Then there are the alien weapons which have been captured in the decades of war with the covenant, that includes the plasma pistol (comparable to fusion pistol) plasma rifle (sort of like a flechette rifle), fuel rod launchers, shades, and needelers. The marine in marathon also has some alien-built weapons up his sleeve including the enforcers flame staff, and maybe a pfhor staff (as in marathon : evil) which are fairly powerful weapons too. : Well Mk IV has Durandal, the Jjaro, and their boxers :P... well actually : having Durandal in your side is a big big advantage, and Chief has : Cortana, which IMO couldn't beat Durandal, Leela or even Tycho. Both AI's are pretty advanced, but you're probably right, Durandal would probably win.
