: I assume you're trying to play the original version of Infinity in the
: Classic Environment and not AO. In that case, I would suggest trashing
: your preferences file. I think it's called Infinity Prefs and it's located
: in the Preferences Folder of your OS 9 System Folder. This may or may not
: work, but once you have a bad prefs file, nothing will bring it back. If
: this doesn't work, then your monitor may not support the default settings
: for Infinity, which I think include 256 colors and - ouch - full-screen.
: Since full screen for Infinity is VGA (640X480), this could be a
: challenge. You could try hitting command-P after starting Infinity up, but
: you still may not be able to change the settings. If all else fails, drop
: a copy of AO carbon into your Infinity folder and use that instead. On a
: newer machine, AO works much better anyway for a variety of reasons.
Any particular reason why A1 won't let me play Marathon 2 and M:I? I can get the menu for both, but it forces me to play whichever I opened first. It's very frustrating trying to play Marathon 2, then hitting "Start New Game" and finding myself running around the Jjarro station from Infinity (or trying to play Infinity and wandering around Waterloo Waterpark). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but I keeps forcing me to play whichever one I happened to play first. This is all on Mac OSX by the way. Can anyone help?
