: You don't need to be a programmer or use any special software - the script is
: plain old text. I'm on my way out the door, but I'll post the scripts here
: later tonight.

Using a text editor (I recommend using the now-free TextWrangler 2.0, but you can even use Word provided you save your file as plain text), create a new document and give it a name. You can use any name at all so long as the extension is either ".mml" or ".txt". Now copy and paste the following lines of text into your new document:

[marathon>

[!-- STR# Resource: "Filenames" -->
[stringset index="129">
[string index="0">Shapes[/string>
[string index="1">Shapes.16[/string>
[string index="2">Sounds[/string>
[string index="3">Sounds.16[/string>
[string index="4">M2 Preferences[/string>
[string index="5">Map[/string>
[string index="6">Game[/string>
[string index="7">Marathon[/string>
[string index="8">M2 Recording[/string>
[string index="9">Standard[/string>
[string index="10">Music[/string>
[string index="11">Images[/string>
[string index="12">Movie[/string>
[/stringset>

[/marathon>

Using your text editor's search and replace function, change all of the left brackets to left angle brackets (less than signs) to match the right angle brackets that are already there. The reason for this is that you cannot post anything with left angle brackets in this forum - the forum will try to interpret them as HTML codes and basically eat everything. Change the names of any of the files to whatever you want them to be. The main one you need to change is the name of the preferences file, listed here as M2 Preferences (string index 4). For Infinity, you'll want it to be something like "Infinity Preferences". You may also want to change the name of the saved recording file (string index 8) accordingly. BTW, the preferences file is automatically saved to the Preferences folder within your home Library folder. Finally, save the file and place it in your "Scrip"ts folder within the M2 or Infinity folder. If you don't have a scripts folder already there, then create one, noting the capitalization of "Scripts". That should take care of it.
