| In Response To: That's definatly Cortana in that screenshot (Still Thinking) Notice that all the numbers and information faces our side of the screen.. maybe that's a representation of her inside a computer, looking out of the screen (a rather tired image).. although it looks like there's architecture behind her.. it may still be a 3d projection on a transparent 2d screen though. Maybe she's a hologram on the other side of a 2d screen.. but why would she be on the wrong side? Those two smaller images within the screen look like wireframe representations of the Halo against [the planet]. And in that same area of the image, you see a color representation of the halo, and it looks to be behind the screen, since it goes behind at least one piece of architecture, and *seems* to go behind "cortana". Going on the wireframe-of-halo idea, along the left edge are more such images, although they seem less interesting... the ones of the bottom right have bright red location indicators and such. The big centerpiece looks like it could be a floorplan. But maybe it's just "windows" containing generic information. Also, what looks like it's behind "cortana" by her right hip is another screen on some of the architecture behind her, showing more wireframe stuff, and more red indicators. Oh, and in the bottom right I just realized that the presence of stars in the background means that this is likely on the Pillar of Autumn. So maybe that's no represnetation of the halo, but The Halo Itself. Would better explain why it goes behind some architecture and doesn't seem to continue on the other side of "cortana".. no window (portal) over there. So maybe Cortana walks around the ship in holograph form to better communicate with people. Then why is she looking at the wrong side of an information board? | |
