Well, he's obviously not the same physical character. The 10th Mjolnir Mark IV cyborg had a father and grew up somewhere, while the Master Chief was kidnapped and brought up on an institution... By the way, that's a strange thing... The Marathon player is a Mark IV, while the Halo player is a Mark V - and yet Marathon takes pace some 200 years after Halo, if I'm not mistaken.

But since he's Destiny and all, maybe he jumps between bodies over time, more or less aware that he's doing it, which is why he has deja vus all the time.

I'm still totally convinced that the Jjaro built Halo. If they don't make an appearance in Halo 2 I will be disappointed.
