Not necessarily. Adam has a valid point. From gameplay alone you cannot tell that they're immune. If all monsters are immune when inactive, drones certainly could remain under lava until they become active. They only need less than a second to surface once activated, so they need only be moderatly heat tolerant. Mark, do you know for certain from Anvil of whatever that drones are naturally immune to lava? If they aren't, then the so-called bug may be somewhat intentional.
