What about bob bug? | ||

Now I'm probably going to sound like a newbie if this is a known M2 engine bug, but I was just playing M2 and decided to try something new with What about bob. Rather than eliminating enemies as I go, I thought I'd try running like hell to reach the first PB. The rationalle was that if I could survive and survive after saving my game, I wouldn't have to fight the initial underground parts of the level - the lava would singe all the Pfhor left behind. Wrong! At the end of the day, I couldn't leave the level. I'd eliminate all above ground monsters, so that could only mean one thing. I game myself a little invincibility and went back under the lava. Sure enough, everyone was still alive! The fighters started to die very quickly once I raactivated them and the cyborgs took considerably longer, but they were apparently immune to lava if inactive, and they apparently became inactive once I left the area. Very strange indeed. |
