: The Eternal MML is supposed to change some text strings, though, so
: Text_Strings could be conflicting with it. That explains why the HUD
: doesn't have the right names for weapons. The Interface_Rects also
: explains why the HUD graphics are out of alignment. Why does Windows Aleph
: need to have these default thing defined in MML, can't they be defined in
: the app? Hmm... here's an idea. Try putting all the default MML files
: back, and rename Eternal.mml to XEternal.mml, to make sure it's parsed
: last (I think it parses alphabetically). Tell me if that fixes anything.
well, that makes the menu work
: On an entirely separate note, I'm not sure why the physics aren't working
: (that's why the fusion fires as a magnum, cause the new physics aren't
: taking hold) - are there any options for physics models in the
: preferences? Anybody know if the Physics file needs to be ported somehow
: too, or if Windows Aleph requires that physics be merged in with the map
: files? (Ch1 has no physics differences between levels so it's just got an
: external physics file).
.
ok, i just tried this and it makes it work, remane the physics fhile "EternalPhysics" and select that in the preferance menu, and it makes all the guns work and look propely. the HUD is still messed though
