: As I think I posted before, I think that the Pfhor were very impressed by the
: ability of our Totz flame thrower to mow down large groups of fighters. As
: always, the Pfhor adapted new technology to their own needs and redesigned
: the enforcer weapon and the primary Jugger weapon to have a similar effect
: to our use of napalm.

Makes sense. The relatively slower speed of the M2 projectile might be due to an inherent characteristic of each round: any faster and the concentrated ring of fire/napalm might dissipate. Also, the charred carcasses are easier to clean up, always a plus.

On the subject of weapons, or ammo to be precise, don't you think that it would make more sense for fusion weapons to cause a flame death instead of a projectile? For the baddies that don't have a flaming death sequence I think it's excusable, but if I'm shooting ultra-hot fusion energy at something and it doesn't go up in flames I'm going to wonder...
