: The text color I used is "sky blue", which is one of the standard
: web colors. Obviously I can refrain from using that color in future posts,
: but why don't you look at your preferences as Mista_B suggested. Make sure
: that your browser is set to allow the use of individual site colors. Also,
: make sure that your display is set for more than 256 colors. If neither of
: these is the problem, then what browser are you using? Do you have the
: latest version? Obviously, it is not recognizing the specified font color
: and is reverting to standard text, which is black - pretty hard to read
: against a black background. Next time I post, I'll try using the hex code
: for that color which any browser should recognize.
I'm using Mozilla 1.3.1 for OS 9, it's the last version, they won't update it for OS 9 anymore (and I WONT use Explorer), and it is allowing individual site colors. My display? Millions of colors.
: Finally, here's a work-around. I've run into this problem, too, on some web
: sites. Simply drag your mouse over the unreadable text to select all of it
: - this will allow you to read it - as long as your selection color isn't
: set to black, that is.
Yeah either that, or what I already said I did: select all (or command-a) ;-)
