The text color I used is "sky blue", which is one of the standard web colors. Obviously I can refrain from using that color in future posts, but why don't you look at your preferences as Mista_B suggested. Make sure that your browser is set to allow the use of individual site colors. Also, make sure that your display is set for more than 256 colors. If neither of these is the problem, then what browser are you using? Do you have the latest version? Obviously, it is not recognizing the specified font color and is reverting to standard text, which is black - pretty hard to read against a black background. Next time I post, I'll try using the hex code for that color which any browser should recognize.
Finally, here's a work-around. I've run into this problem, too, on some web sites. Simply drag your mouse over the unreadable text to select all of it - this will allow you to read it - as long as your selection color isn't set to black, that is.
