You should try out Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Fun game, and best of all, the console (my only one, a Dreamcast) now costs as low as $20 in stores (I live in the U.S., don't know about elsewhere).

I think it uses a modified Tomb Radier engine, and while characters talk without any facial movements/expressions (the hero talks without a lower jaw!), it's still a really great adventure/puzzle game and has some of the best darn voice acting ever. Just wish they included sub-titles, but ah well can't have it all.

.....but I'm sort of horrified by the stage I'm currently playing, loaded with my big 3 phobias rolled into one ball of terror: Vampiric Zombie Spider-men. Weee. Excuse me while I curl up into a fetal position under my desk, crying silently to myself.
