Hey, I'm just wondering, what other games do you guys... well, title. I have such a shitload of games, but I would love to list some simple shoot-em-up-and-find-your-way-out games that I have or would like to have the full version of (I don't like any of these better than the other): Wolfenstein: Wolfenstein, it's a pretty good game, I like the overall engine and all that other stuff. You guys probably know how the gameplay is. Arsenal is barely balanced, basically each weapon gets better rendering the earlier ones more useless. Aside from that though, I think it is a pretty good game, and I am still working on the scenario. There are an awful lot of scenarios out there for this game, and I yearn to collect many of them, as well as start some of my own. DOOM: I love this one too. Offers plenty of adrenaline and stuff. Many good features. Quake: Quake, I basically must say the same about this as DOOM and Wolfenstein. It is from id. I made a thread about how much I love Quake anyway, in which I blabbed on about what I like about it. Might as well not spoil the echo, :D. Killing Time: I thought that the killing thing of Killing Time sucked. The enemies were crappy, and, well, it was just crappy. But I thought that the environment was cool, and it kind of adds some cool background with all of the ghost movies and stuff. A lot of adventure. It's hard to describe it, but the killing concept of it really blew, however i think that it has a lot of strengths in other areas. Lastly, it kind of had a spooky feeling Rise Of The Triad: I haven't played this yet, but I hope to get it sometime. It looks and sounds like another cool game. Any links that you guys may have to it for the mac for me to just download, I would be grateful. Duke Nukem: This is good. Unique puzzles, pretty good enemies, stunts. The only thing that I didn't like was the pornography. Ah, well, the pornography looked crappy anyway. Unreal: I like Unreal, not only do you get to use a variety of weapons, but also you get to use lots more inventory and stuff. And the environment rocked, plus the emotion. The creatures are pretty cool. I also like the translator message thing, that was pretty unique. Cube: I think I heard the Battle Cat talk about some game called Cube once. It sounds like a game I might like. Maybe if he knew some links to it. Redneck Rampage: I don't have this game, but I've played it at a friends house. It's fun and... funNY. It's been a while since I've played it, but I remember it being pretty cool. I remember my friend showing me the funny thing where you get drunk, you can only move in a specific direction, your view tilts and blurs, often leading to unfortunate death. Prime Target: This game seems to use the same engine as Marathon. The opponents are fierce and powerful, and the levels can get pretty complicated. Map-making is a little dull in my opinion, but nevertheless I thought of it as a fun game. That's all so far. If you guys have any other simple shoot-em-up-and-find-your-way-out games and/or links to them, let me know. I'll be blowing away some Imps. |
