Hmmm - I have no problem with the Infinity version or AO - at least on my 500 MHz Ti PB. I know this is going to sound like a broken record, but have you given the Infinity version enough RAM? Also, try checking or unchecking the fill screen checkbox to see if this makes a difference - some displays have difficulties switching resolutions in midstream. I'm running the Infinity version with 32-bit color depth, so this shouldn't be a problem unless you just don't have enough physical RAM or enough VRAM (I only have 8MB VRAM myself, however). Could you tell me exactly what happens when you try to run AO carbon? Do you at least get a log file in your home folder? I really what to help you figure this out.
